Real art. Real people. Real fun.
Listen to the art that's calling you this Thanksgiving

Forget the malls and the big box stores and the midnight sales this year. And don't even think about going out on Thursday (that's just wrong, yo!).
You are cordially invited to try something fun, joyous and completely different this Thanksgiving weekend.
Flying Whale Studios & Friends present their 5th Annual Artist Open House and Holiday Sale, Nov. 25, 26 and 27 from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, 9-5 on Saturday, and 11-4 on Sunday at Flying Whale Landing 143 William St., Geneva, NY. Admission is free and the public is encouraged to attend. Refreshments are available and all patrons are eligible for free raffle drawings of items donated by the participating artists and vendors.
One house. Six rooms. More gifts than can fill Santa's sleigh.

Kevin and Mary Schoonover open their Greek Revival home for three days of shopping in an intimate, friendly setting. Six downstairs rooms are filled with a wide variety of eclectic arts and crafts, from the whimsical to the practical to the edible — including holiday decorations and fine art photography, Pysanky eggs, handmade soaps and glass jewelry, pillows, paper, pottery and primitives, up-cycled mittens, turned wooden bowls, locally sourced honey, beeswax candles and maple products, and much, much more. You're sure to find that perfect something for everyone on your gift-giving list, plus an irresistible indulgence or two for you too.
“The past four years have been huge successes," said Kevin. “And 2016 is going to be even better. The new artists whom we've invited and those who are returning have a similar aesthetic to ours — their work is unique, finds beauty in the unexpected, and has a quirky playfulness that's far removed from the norm."
