
I can almost smell the moist earth where they will eventually be deposited as I spread all the leftover seed packets on the dining room table.
The labels stare back up at me. Old friends.
Then starts the tally. Plenty of lettuces and herbs, especially basil. Out of celeriac, corn and tomatillos.
The list goes on. But now that I know what we have -- and what's old -- I can start a second list of what we can order.
